Winter Academic Schedule:

Academic Classes: 
Region 9 Adult Education is here to help you realize your dreams of a high school education or college enrollment.  Adult Education provides classes and open lab sessions to help you achieve your diploma improve their skills for a job or college. We have classes in reading, writing, and math to help you get ready for the HI-SET exam-the new alternative to the GED or the ACCUPLACER for college admittance. Attend one of our Orientation session to learn how you could be a graduate by June-maybe even earlier.  

 

Come to Orientation!
You must attend an Orientation session to enroll in any academic class - see schedule below.  During orientation you will learn about our programs, learn about yourself, and learn how we can help you succeed.  Please be prompt!

  • Wednesdays at 5pm - January 7, February 4, March 4, April 1, May 6
  • Fridays at 8am - January 23, February 27, March 20, April 17, May 22

HiSet or High School Diploma:
We can help you pass the GED or help you obtain your diploma.  Classes Monday through Thursday - day and evening.

College Transition:
Always wanted to go to college, but not sure where to start? Think it has been too long since you were in school to think about getting more education? This program is for anyone who wants to go to college, but needs a bit of help getting there. Improve your math, reading, and writing skills, learn how to apply for college and what financial aid is available, explore options for your degree before you invest money.  To enroll please attend the orientation session on Wednesday, January 7 at 5 pm or Friday, January 23 at 8 am. Class is on Monday and Wednesday nights from 6 to 9 pm starting February 2nd for 13 weeks. We are also interested in running a class during the day, so come in for registration and let us know if you prefer a daytime class.

Enrichment and Job Skills Courses:

There are three ways to enroll in our Enrichment and Job Skills courses:

  1. Register online, anytime.
  2. Complete a registration form and mail or bring it in to our office.
  3. Call 364-2012 and speak to Amy or Debbie to enroll.
